Foundation for Scottish Athletics, Inc. uses the following distances as a guideline in determining whether or not an Amateur athlete qualifies for the A division:

**NOTE - THESE DISTANCES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE**

Heavy Weight for Distance - 56lb. 25' minimum

Light Weight for Distance - 28lb. 50' minimum

    Heavy Hammer - 22lb. 60' minimum

    Weight Over Bar - 56lb. 11' minimum

Please note that when you register for an event you are selecting your preferred division, but that final decision is up to the Athletic Director.  Please also note that this criteria is not the same in all regions / states; however, this is the criteria that will be used for FSA, Inc. events.

Do I need to have met all four scores or if I have 3 and a wonderful personality will that count?

Standard of practice is that all 4 must be met in the same event.

However; it is, as always, at the discretion of the Athletic Director.
